little things.
- early spring rain showers with that lovely early spring smell in the air.
- visiting the beach when it’s still freezing out, where standing at the waters edge is a little bit painful, but oh so worth it.
- falling asleep in the summer with the windows down and the fan on low, covered in only a sheet.
- driving somewhere new with the windows down and the music up.
- finishing a good book and feeling a little bit unsure of where to go next with your life.
- unexpected snow.
- big, plush chairs and fireplaces, with a familiar book in hand.
- unabashedly jumping in to the first leaf pile of the year and getting leaves up/down your pants/shirt/shoes.
- watching the snow fall under streetlights.
- feeling someone you enjoy crawl in to bed with you while you’re half asleep, and the feel of their skin brushing against yours.
what are yours?
